- [Narrator] In the middle of 2016, Adobe made a huge change to an important feature in InDesign. A feature that almost everybody uses. But Adobe didn't really talk much about it. And that feature is zoom. You know, like zooming in and out on your page. And here the weird part, it affects some InDesign users and not others. And who it affects might even seem like random at first, but it's not. It only affects you if you have a newer graphics card, with at least one gigabyte of VRAM in your computer and a high DPI monitor. Like, a retina display on Mac laptops. If you have the right hardware configuration, you suddenly get what's called, GPU performance. And part of that upgrade is a feature called, animated zoom. Animated zoom looks like this. I want to zoom in on this caption down here, that text frame. So, I could go grab the zoom tool from the tool panel, but nobody does that. Instead I use a shortcut, right?
