253 Crop many overlapping pix at once
- [Anne-Marie] Here's a neat tip that I picked up on Facebook of all places, somebody asked in an inDesign group that I frequent over there, "How to crop a bunch of images at once?" and the problem she explained was that she had a bunch of overlapping images in her print publication and this is perfectly fine, that had a bleed, some things were bleeding off the edge on purpose. So if I look at this in preview mode, you can see that some of the information has been cutoff. Let's go back, this orange area up here, the people walking down the path here, the green area over here, that's all cut off. And she wanted it to stay cutoff but when she exported this to ePUB, to an e-book format, reflowable ePUB, it did not honor the bleeds, which is true, it just shrank the entire collection of images. Now though you may not do any e-books or ePUBs, this tip also applies to you too. If I have this collection of images and I want to crop them all at the same time, what's the best way to do that?…
