250 Keyboard shortcut to insert special glyphs inside a font

- [Voiceover] Let's head up to the type menu and choose glyphs. Look at all these characters in the glyphs panel. Some fonts contain thousands of different characters, but there is a problem. How am I suppose to type some of these? I know that I can insert a glyph just by clicking in a text frame and then double-clicking here inside the panel. But what if I need to type something a lot? Like, what about this one here? The Indian rupee symbol, for their currency. There's no built in way to type this character, and InDesign's edit keyboard shortcuts feature does not let you assign shortcuts to arbitrary characters inside of a font like this. But fortunately there is a cool script which is so easy that anybody can use it.
