- [Voiceover] A lot of design is about…making things easier for the reader to understand.…From the communication that you're creating.…Or to do, for example, to turn the page,…or to tap on a link.…The problem is, that when you create hyperlinks…on text in InDesign,…they become really hard to hit in a PDF,…especially if the type is really small.…For example, here in the mouse print at the very bottom,…if I zoom in, you can see that there is…a link to Lynda.com.…
But when I export this to PDF, including hyperlinks,…here is where the link appears, way down here.…And as the reader, if I happen to see that link,…I have to get, watch my cursor,…I have to get really close to the link…before it turns into Mr. Pointy,…indicating that it's a link that I could click.…See how close it is?…I mean, it's crazy.…What we want to do is make it so that…if the reader's cursor gets anywhere near Lynda.com,…that it turns into a pointing hand,…indicating that this is a link.…
Not just directly on the type itself.…How can we do this in InDesign?…
