231 Creating better callout lines with effects and object styles
- [Voiceover] A task that just about every graphic designer or publication designer has to do in their life is to create callouts, that is, next to the captions, describing parts of an image you drag out a line. Pretty simple, right? You just use the good old Line tool and you drag it out. The end. But that's not the end, of course, because we don't want just plain old lines, we want really nice-looking callout lines. Sometimes these callout lines can get lost in a very busy illustration. Sometimes we might need to do a whole bunch of them and then change them all the same way, like make them all thicker or something. And I'm going to show you in this video, some tips that will help you with all of those tasks. First, the number one thing I'd like you to take away from this tip is to please make an Object Style out of your callout lines.
