182 Start a document on a left-hand page

- Sometimes you want the first page of your document to be a left-hand page instead of a right-hand page. For example in this document, this is supposed to be three spreads from a magazine, where each spread has a left-hand and a right-hand page facing each other. You might try and drag the first page over to the left, but it won't work. Every time I try and drag, as soon as I let go of the mouse button, the page snaps back to the right-hand side. So what are you supposed to do? Well, I'm going to show you two different techniques to get that page over to the left. The first is the simplest and that is, simply, to change the page numbering to an even number instead of an odd number. Right now, this is page number one, but if I double click on that little triangle above the page, or right click on the page and choose Numbering and Section Options, then up comes the Numbering and Section Options dialog box and here I can change the start page numbering to an even number, let's say, two.…
