The three kinds of anchor points

- In this movie I'm gonna introduce you to the three kinds of anchor points that are available to each and every path outline regardless of the application that you use to create it. And it doesn't matter what tool you use, either. Whether it's the Pen tool or one of the simple Line or Shape tools, or even a character of type that you've converted to a path outline, it's all the same. And you can mix and match these three kinds of anchor points as much as you like. Now for starters we have this guy right here. And as you may recall a solid square indicates a selected anchor point, these hollow squares are deselected. And you may notice that this anchor point has no control handles whatsoever, making it the simplest kind of anchor point there is, which is a corner point, because after all we end up with these sharp corners. And in our case because all three of these points are corner points, once again without any control handles, they are connected by absolutely straight segments. The…
