The artwork anti-aliasing options

In this exercise we're going to discuss this new phenomenon that at least I am seeing inside of Illustrator CS5 where you end up with these horizontal line artifacts at sort of strange points inside of your illustration. I'm going to cancel out of the Save for Web dialog box for a moment. So I can show you an even better example of this problem. Notice by the way that I'm still working inside Better type.ai found inside the 12_exporting folder. I'm going to switch over to my Artboards and double-click on Skate & surf to make it active. So look at that surfboard, I just wanted you to see it. It's got the Ghost Robot clipped inside of it and it's got a red stroke down the center of it, a red translucent stroke. Nothing else going on. There are no horizontal lines that work inside of this artwork. To prove it press Ctrl+Y or Cmd+Y on the Mac to switch to the outline mode. You're going to see an awful lot of objects, because you have this big giant version of the robot here that's clipped…
