- [Instructor] In this movie, we are going to go ahead and make a zigzag stitch. We can work off of the cover stitch, or you can draw new line segments. If you want to work off of your cover stitch, we'll just delete the loop, select these two stitches, and rotate them 90 degrees. If you hold the Shift key, it'll stop at 90 degrees. We'll switch to the white arrow, select the two top-anchor points, right click, and average them. Click OK. And now we've got our zigzag shape. I like my zigzag to be a little bit wider, so I'm going to go ahead select this, grab one of the side-anchor points, hold my Option key, and just drag it out a little bit wider. And now we'll select it, click on new, Pattern Brush, click OK. We'll call this zigzag and we'll go ahead and adjust the color method to Tints. Click OK. Now we'll select it and apply it. And we can see, we just made a terrible zigzag brush. Notice how the top looks perfect but the bottom just doesn't align properly. That's because the way…
