Working with cusp points

- In this movie, I'll show you how to work with the third variety of anchor point that's available to you across the entire Adobe suite, and that's the cusp point. And as you may recall, a cusp point is a kind of corner that neighbors a curving segment. So for example, if I press the "a" key to switch to my wide arrow tool and I click on this anchor point near the bottom of the stylized orange, you can see that we've got an anchor point surrounded by two control handles. And if I drag one of those control handles, then the opposite handle is going to move symmetrically and that tells me that I have a smooth point which ensures a smooth transition between two curving segments. Whereas if I click on this anchor point right here, you can see that it gives me two control handles, but the control handles move independently of each other. So if I move one, the opposite control handle is not affected. And in this case, the cusp point is creating a corner between two curving segments, but it…
