- In addition to the new Shaper tool in Illustrator,…they've also added some new drawing capabilities…to Illustrator as well, something called…"Live Shapes".…Now this is something that has been around…for a couple of versions now with rectangles…wherein you could go in and round the corners…of a rectangle after you drew it.…Well, now that same type of functionality…has been added to other shapes…in Illustrator as well making it easy for you…to manipulate them after you draw them.…Let's take a look at exactly what I mean here.…Go ahead and create yourself a brand new document.…Doesn't matter how big or how small.…
Once you have that document open,…what I want you to do is first come over here…and grab the Ellipse tool and just draw yourself a circle.…Anywhere out on the artwork, doesn't matter.…Then go ahead and come back over here…and grab the polygon tool.…And with the polygon tool selected,…just go ahead and draw yourself out a polygon,…again it doesn't matter how big or how small…the polygon is, or where it actually sits…
