Working with the Gradient tool
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to work with the Gradient Tool, which is going to allow us to very precisely position the hot spot at the tip of cigar as well as these colors in the temple of the eyeglasses. All right, for once we don't need the tracing template because I've already drawn our base path outlines. And so I'll go ahead and select this guy right here with the black arrow tool and I'll click on the first color swatch on the far left side of the Control Panel and I'll change the fill to this shade of gray in which all of the RGB values read 153, and that's it, we just want a flat fill for that path. And now I'll go ahead and select the full ellipse over here on the right hand side and we're going to fill it with a gradient. So make sure the Gradient Panel is up on screen and that the fill is active. After which point, locate the shade of yellow in which the RGB values are 252, 238, and 33, although, of course, you can select any color you like. And then drag…
