Where to place the call to action
- [Instructor] When discussing how to develop your call to action, or CTA for short, you might recall that I said if you're going to lead with strong content, you better end with strong content. This, of course, implies that you should close with your CTA. While this is a natural inclination, there might be times when closing with your CTA doesn't tell the best story. Let's use BooginHead as an example. Their CTAs appear in the orange text of their value propositions, so each sell sheet leads with their call to action versus closing with it. When your CTA doesn't include a sense of urgency, or a free giveaway, or a specific action on how to buy, it makes sense to open with it verus close with it. If you're going to be opening with your CTA, then it might impact your layout. In the case of BooginHead, the CTA opens their story, so it's sized to match all of the other supporting text on the sell sheets.
