- [Narrator] In this movie we'll take a look…at another drawing tool inside of Illustrator…that you may find to be helpful…in order to augment the pen tool at any rate.…And that's the pencil tool.…Now, the pencil tool has been…dramatically improved in Illustrator CC,…so much so that those of you with…drawing tablets may find it to be…a really great gestural drawing tool in general.…And to learn more, you can check out…my course Draw Better and Faster with Illustrator CC.…As for those of you who are working with mice,…or working in older versions of Illustrator,…the pencil tool can be great for drawing…very short paths, like these guys right here.…
Alright, so I'll go ahead and switch over…to my document in progress here,…and I'll zoom out by pressing Control + 0…or Command + 0 on a Mac,…and then I'll turn my template layer back on.…Alright, so drawing small paths…with the pen tool is not all that difficult.…For example, I'll draw this guy right here…by pressing the P key to get the pen tool of course,…and then I'll just go ahead and drag like so,…
