Find out what you should know before watching this course. Andy expects you to have a basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator, and that you're familiar with general file setup, creating and editing shapes, working with text, symbols, layers and artboards.
- [Instructor] Before you start this course, I wanted to begin by mentioning that it'd be really helpful if you have some knowledge of Adobe Illustrator already. We'll be focusing on basic tasks, like general file setup, creating and editing shapes, working with text and symbols, and keeping our project organized with layers and artboards, so ideally, you'll be familiar with these concepts. Even if you've only opened Illustrator a couple of times, you should be able to follow along and complete this course, as we'll be taking it step by step.
