That's mainly because many people are not aware of the tools that are built into Illustrator that make it a viable option for designing websites. Illustrator gives you a ton of flexibility in web asset creation, and will make the process faster than you could ever imagine. Here in LinkedIn Learning, I'll show you how to design a complete website in Adobe Illustrator. Starting with how you set up the project correctly so that you can maximize efficiency within the application. Throughout this course, you'll master using art boards so that you can build out multiple device designs in a single file. You'll become faster and more efficient through the use of symbols and type-based styles. And you'll learn how to quickly set up multiple column grids to ensure your layouts are spot on. You'll learn about the best settings for exporting files and how you can leverage other amazing features in Illustrator that will make this process a snap.
