- [Robin] Learning to draw flats in Illustrator is key to working in the fashion industry. I'm Robin Schneider, and I've been teaching digital fashion for over 12 years. My approach is to share quick and easy techniques to get new users up and working fast while giving more advanced users useful tips. In this course, I'll be covering the basic tools you'll need for fashion design and how I use them. First, I'll show you how to set up an efficient workspace. Then, we'll move on to drawing industry style flats like t-shirts, button downs, trousers, skirts, and blazers. I'll cover shortcuts for speed like using symbols. Finally, how to lay out a lined sheet for presentation. So, open Illustrator and let's get started.
