- There's nothing a villain likes more than to tie the hero to some sort of life-threatening contraption and then spill their back story. The voice over captions is an easy way to get yourself out of this tight jam. The hero? Well that's his problem. So we're back here on the first page we were working on where we created our first word balloons and our first tail. Let's see what's happening in panel two. Here in the script it looks like in panel two we've got two captions. Take a look at the placements and see what the writer has in mind. So we can see here that the character in panel one is continuing to talk through panel two. But what she's actually saying isn't actually happening in panel two, it's a voice over. So the writer's drawn two boxes for those blocks of dialogue. Let's go back to the script and get those bits of dialogue. Alright, the first caption, I'm going to highlight it.
