Variable-width gradient strokes

- [Voiceover] In this movie, we're going to use the eyebrows to cut into the eyes. Which is a great use for the Divide Pathfinder Operation. And we're also going to create these variable width gradient strokes. Alright, so I'll go ahead and switch over to the document at hand. And I'll select each one of the eyebrow paths with the black-arrow tool, and then I'll press Control C, or Command C on a Mac, to copy them because in just a moment, we're going to lose them. Alright, now I'll click off the paths and then I'll select this guy along with the right eye. And I'll go up to the Window Menu, and choose Pathfinder to bring up the Pathfinder Panel. And then I'll click on the first icon in the second row to apply the Divide Pathfinder Operation, at which point we end up with this effect here. Now select this eyebrow, the left one as well as the left eye, and repeat that operation by once again clicking on that icon. Or by pressing the keyboard shortcut of Control 4 here on the PC, or…
