Using variable-width profiles

- [Narrator] In this movie, we're going to stroke all these paths that we've been creating using variable width strokes, but we're going to expedite the process using predefined width profiles. And so we're going to start with these paths that taper in and out such as the forehead wrinkles and this jawline right here. And to make that happen, I'm going to first select those paths using the black arrow tool, and if you don't have your black arrow tool selected, then just go ahead and press the "V" key. And I'm marking, and shift marking, and shift clicking on these five paths to select them. And then notice this item up here in the control panel that reads "uniform". If you click on it, you'll see a list of predefined width profiles, including this very first one which is called "width profile one", which starts off absolutely thin, it starts off zero points thick, then it gets thicker in the center, and then it goes back to zero points.
