- [Instructor] If you use two alpha channels in Photoshop, then you'll have some idea about the topic of this movie, which is Opacity Masks. However, they are slightly different in Illustrator, of course, they would be. Okay, so in the file I've got here, I'm going to zoom out just a little bit here. Okay, because I've got these white lines, okay, that might be a bit tricky to see, on a mobile device, I'll see if I can just increase the white there just for a second, right? she wanted them to be fine in the illustration, but I'll just pick those up, and I don't want them on the left hand side, I want them to kind of fade in. So what I'm going to do is go to the transparency panel, okay, and choose to make a mask. And that's it, it adds me a mask like so. Now, if I was to just click away from this for a second, you wouldn't see any lines because that mask is totally black, Okay, and it's hiding everything. So black…
