…This is a brand character I created for a food product called Kusko and believe it…or not, it's a salmon treats for kids so take that however you want, but they…wanted a grizzly bear character for their branding.…And this is the character I came up…with and I used the inset shape method…on this, even though this is a more simplistic…branded illustration, it's not a very complex illustration. I…still used a simplified form of inset shape here,…such on the side of his head, on each side just to kind of set it off from,…I didn't want the dark shadow hitting the dark…outline of the character itself. I want this separation…there and it just makes the readability of the…art a little better. Now the area where this…effect really shines though, is on his nose. And…I want to zoom in on that and kind…of explain what I mean by that. And that is, this is how the final art was done.…
