If I just…pull this out, you can see that in order…to model just the tip of that nose, I just used a simple gradient fill.…
And if we go over to the gradient palette, you can see it's just a lighter hue, tint…of this brown blending out to once again the base color set…to zero alpha, and that gives this nice effect…of the highlight on the tip of his nose. So it's those kind of subtle uses…of gradients even in context of illustration.
