- If you're anything like me,…you save the alignment part of a project…for, pretty much, the last thing that you do.…And in most cases, when I'm creating artwork…in Illustrator, is I'm working in what I call…little pockets of space.…So, for instance, I'll work on something in the corner…or out here on the scratch area…or on another artboard entirely.…And then once I have everything…that I need completed, I'll bring it back…into the finished composition…to line it all up and fit it all together.…And traditionally in Illustrator,…aligning things has been kind of hard…because you're having to rely…on your precise ability to read the info panel…or using the rulers or setting up guides,…where in other programs like Photoshop,…for instance, they've had the ability…to evenly space objects and align objects…to one another very quickly and easily…for a couple of versions now.…
Well now, in Illustrator CC 2015,…we have those same types…of smart guides and alignment cues…to let us do what we want to do quicker.…So let's check this out.…
