Using checkup profiles

- [Instructor] VectorFirstAid can help you find and fix many different kinds of problems in your Illustrator files. So many, in fact, that you wouldn't want to have to deal with each issue separately. And fortunately, you don't have to because you can use checkup profiles to perform any number of fixes at once, either manually or on an automated scheduled. And you can use preset profiles that come with VectorFirstAid or create your own custom profiles that deal with the exact issues you choose. So let's see how checkup profiles work. In our file here, we have a product label that was set up in Adobe InDesign, exported to PDF, and then opened here in Illustrator. And while there are no obvious defects you can see just by looking at the artwork, it wouldn't take long to find out that this file was going to be very hard to edit efficiently.
