Using the Polar Grid tool

- All right, so here we are looking at the final version of the artwork. And I want you to see how the smoke ends in a spiral. That spiral is a little tricky to create, which is why we're going to establish another custom guide, this time using the Polar Grid Tool. So I'll go ahead and switch to my good old document in progress here. And I'll select the Polar Grid Tool, either from the end of this floating toolbar, or you can click and hold on what is now the Rectangular Grid Tool. And select the Polar Grid Tool from the bottom of the fly out menu. And notice what it does, if I go ahead and drag with the tool, you can see that it creates a series of concentric circles with these lines emanating out from the center. So it's a kind of sonar pattern, if you will. Now notice, I'll go ahead and get rid of that guy, I can make something that's short and squat, or something that's tall and skinny. If I press the shift key, I'm going to constrain all the shapes to perfect circles. If I press…
