- So here we are in Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 and I've opened up the Face.ai exercise file. Notice that I'm on the layer called Painting and this is the active layer that we're gonna be using for this exercise. We're first gonna take a look at the pressure sensitive options for using the Brush Tool and the Pencil Tool. To set these up, simply double-click the Brush Tool and it'll bring up Paintbrush Options. The only option that we need to make sure that we have for this is Keep Selected. It doesn't really have a pressure sensitive setting, but what it does is it allows me to go through and keep it selected so I can add pressure sensitive options later. For instance, if I go through and I select a color and I decide to paint in an accent with the Brush Tool, you'll notice that it is giving me some pressure sensitive options as I go through and draw.
