- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll start getting familiar with stipplism by looking at the controls in the Stipple dialogue box. In the exercise file for this movie let's select this circle filled with the gradient. And go to the effect menu and choose stipplism, stipple. Now at first we don't see any change so let's click on preview and all the colors in the gradient are replaced with dots. The dots are black by default according to this color setting right here. But we can change that by clicking on the color box which brings up the color picker, where we can define a new color using any of the standard methods like RGB, CMYK and others, or we can click to use our color swatches and pick one from the list, or we can sample the colors in the original object by clicking sample object.
