Use replace options
- [Instructor] In this movie we'll look at the Replace With options in Astute Graphics FindReplace. In our file we have a whole bunch of stars that all share the same geometry but they have different sizes, rotations, fill colors, and opacities. And below them we have one path here in the shape of a cat. And we'll use this cat to see how the various Replace With options work when we replace the stars. I'll go to the FindReplace panel and choose Kind, Path and add the attribute of Geometry. And I'll select one of the stars and click the Eyedropper to match that star's geometry. I'll also Allow Scaling and Rotation. I'll turn off Reversal. And click Select matching art. And all the stars are selected. Then I'll select the cat. And go to my Replace With options and click the Eyedropper to select the cat as my replacement art. Notice that you can also select symbols by clicking this button. And these symbols are the same…
