- [Instructor] The WidthScribe plugin from Astute Graphics gives you the ability to control variable width strokes with speed and ease. You can adjust stroke widths by brushing on your artwork with a brush tool, or by dragging to apply stroke widths in linear or radial gradients. In this movie, we'll look at what you can do with the Width Brush Tool. The Width Brush Tool is like a high powered version of illustrators with tool. But instead of working with one with marker at a time, you can brush over areas of your artwork to create and adjust as many width markers as you want, quickly and easily. Let's start by taking a look at the Width Brush Tools preferences. I'll double click on the tool to open the preferences dialogue box. And here I can see that I have Brush Options like size and hardness that affect the range of the width brush just like any paintbrush tool. And I can choose to adjust stroke widths either…
