- [Voiceover] Alright, now let's say, you want to change your artwork from this monochromatic blue color scheme to this effect here, where the text is filled with this bright orange and the shadow stroke is set to violet and so forth. Well, one way to work, is to go ahead and target that layer by returning to the Layers panel and then clicking on its circular meatball right there, and then returning to the Appearance panel, and then changing the top fill, for example. But notice right now, here inside the Graphic Styles panel, that we have an outline around the "scalloped" thumbnail, which tells us that we have a link. But, if I were to change the fill to this bright shade of orange right here, R251G176B59, then I would definitely change the fill, but I would also break the link. And by the way, I've done this in a pretty tedious manner because I had to switch back and forth between the Appearance and the Layers panel, and so, not surprisingly, there's a much easier way to work that…
