Uniting vector shapes

- Now, we get to have a lot more fun, not that building vectors isn't fun. It's kind of relaxing. I usually don't talk through all the aspects as I've done in these movies, for obvious reasons. I usually put on headphones and zone out while I'm doing that, but once I get done building it and I have all, what I call, my base vector shapes, it's now ready to move forward and push it towards color so we can start exploring color. Now, in regards to this design, I have some elements that are made up of more than one shape to form the shape I'm intending to create, and in this case, like his mouth here. We're just going to go through. On these type of shapes, I'll drag the Pathfinder out here so you can see it, and we're going to fuse these shapes together, or as Illustrator refers to it, unite them, and unite them into one shape by just selecting both and clicking that button. We're just going to go through on all these areas that have shapes that need to be united. We're going to weld…
