Uniting and rotating the primitives

- [Voiceover] In this movie, we're going to unite our various primitive shapes in order to create these two custom J-shaped paths right here. And then we'll do a little bit of rotating, in order to begin the process of creating this star logo. And so the first thing we want to do is switch to the white arrow tool, by pressing the A key, and then I'll go ahead and marquee between these two rectangles like so, all the way to the top of the smallest circle. And so you should end up selecting these four anchor points right here, which represent the top points in each one of the circles. Then press the backspace key, or the delete key on a Mac, to get rid of them. Alright, now, in order to better see what's going on here, I'm going to press the V key to switch to my black arrow tool. I'll go ahead and marquee the rectangles right there, and I'm going to hide them by going up to the object menu, choosing hide, and then choose selection, or you have that keyboard shortcut of control three…
