- [Voiceover] They say a picture is worth 1,000 words. What we're gonna do this week is actually create a word out of a picture. So what we're gonna do first is create the element that's gonna make up our letters. And it's gonna be a pencil. So I'm gonna create a new layer here and I'm gonna start creating the various pieces that are gonna make up our pencil. I'm gonna get a nice little rectangle like that and I'm gonna go ahead and fill it with a nice kind of a yellow color. Good color for our pencil to have. I'll go ahead and fill it. There we go. So now what I'm going to do is I'm gonna create another little box right up here, right above it, right about like that. It's gonna be a little eraser area, right there. And in a layer on top of that, I'll create with a nice kind of a dark gray, like that. We'll just fill that with that. There we go. Then in the area back here, right where the pencil originally was, we'll go in there and create a little rounded corner selection here, we…
