Skill Level Intermediate
- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Nigel French. In this episode of the Type Project series, we'll use Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator to create a typographic treatment in a style inspired by Dada. An influential avant-garde art movement of the early 20th century. In doing so, we'll look at choosing stylistically appropriate type faces and colors, and how to apply several useful techniques. All of which have applications beyond creating Dada inspired type.
These include using the Touch Type tool to simulate imperfect base lines. Making an overprint effect. And adding texture. Let's get started.
