Triangles and diamonds

- [Instructor] Triangles make compelling shapes, either alone, as part of a pattern, or as an interior shape within a design. Put two triangles together, and you have a diamond. Because of their reduced volume, triangle and diamond logos tend to have the text stand outside the shape. Here then are some techniques for working with triangles and diamonds in your logos. You can draw your triangles with the polygon tool, and if you have more than three sides, you can reduce the number of sides with the down arrow. And of course, add them with the up arrow. If you want your triangle to have a flat base, hold down the Shift key. And if you want to move it while you're drawing it, you can hold down the space bar. To round the corners of the triangle, pull inwards on the corner widget.
