- [Instructor] I'm going to take you through a quick tour of recolor art so that you can gain a basic understand of the recolor art panel and how it works. Recolor art focuses purely on selected colors, not the objects themselves. This makes it easy to change a color wherever it is applied including a color stop on a gradient mesh or a gradient fill, colors and symbols and patterns and, of course, solid fill and stroke colors. You must first select some art for recolor art to work. Only the selected art will be effected by the edits made in the recolor art panel. So it's a good idea to make sure that you don't have any locked or hidden art before starting. I'm going to go ahead and select all of this art here with the Command + A or Control + A and then look at a couple different ways that we can enter recolor art from here.
