Join Kevin Stohlmeyer for an in-depth discussion in this video Touch Options, part of Illustrator: Using Wacom Tablets.
- Depending on what Wacom tablet you're using,…you may have built in touch sensitivity.…With my Intuous Pro I do, and I'll see that…in an option in the toolbar called Touch.…When I go to Touch,…you'll have three tabs for Touch Options,…Standard Gestures, and My Gestures…that will allow you to customize your options.…When you come in here,…if Enable touch input is unchecked,…it may be that you actually clicked the top button…on your Wacom ExpressKeys…to turn touch sensitivity on or off.…Simply click the button, or check the box,…to enable the touch input to get back into your options.…
In Touch Options, we have Pointer Speed,…Double-Tap Time, Scrolling Speed,…and Pointer Acceleration.…Pointer Speed has to do with the speed of your cursor…as you move back and forth with your finger.…Going to the right will increase the speed to faster,…meaning that your cursor will move faster with less motion.…Dragging to the left will track slower with more motion.…Double-Tap Time has to do with the lag…between taps to register a Double-Tap.…
