- The use of textures can be subtle or more overt in context of graphic arts. Whether it's used in an identity or an illustration. Let me share with you a handful of design projects where I utilized both real-world surface textures and found textures in my designs. So, the first design I kind of want to share with you is one of my earlier ones where I really went out of my way to use a lot of textures in this. It originally started as a vector illustration and then I brought it into Photoshop and that's where I did all my texturing on this now. This was specifically for a book I did on textures called Crumble, Crackle, Burn and so this is one of the featured art that's in this book. So, I've included the layered PSD file and the exercise files for this course. So even though I don't walk through that in any movie, you can download that file and you can walk through it yourself and see how I exactly did this.
