- [Voiceover] In this movie I'll give you a sense for just how far we can go with the appearance panel and the upshot will be that we're gonna add these electrons to our atomic symbol. And it's all a function of adding a few more fills to this single ellipse. So notice if I select the ellipse and press backspace key, everything goes away. Of course, I don't want that so I'll press control+z or command+z and I'll bring it back. So here's what you do. I'm gonna go ahead and switch over to our document of progress here and I'll make sure that the ellipse is selected. That's very important, and if you ever wanna confirm that you have a selection just make sure that you're seeing something other than no selection here at the top of the appearance panel. Then, I'll go ahead and click on the fill. And what I wanna do, instead of creating a new fill, I'm gonna duplicate the existing one by clicking on the little page icon. Notice the difference here.
