- [Narrator] So far, we've seen how to apply stippling effects with the controls in the stipple dialogue box. Next, let's look at a few key points to remember when applying stippling effects to vector objects. The first point is that you will get different results when you apply stippling to multiple objects depending on if those objects are grouped or not. For example, at the top of the exercise file for this movie, there are two pairs of stars. The ones on the left are independent, the ones on the right are grouped together. Let's select all the stars and apply the same stippling settings. Choose effect, stipplism, stipple. And in the dialogue box, let's set the density to 25%, keep the quality at three, keep the dot size at six pixels. For the color, we'll sample the object and click preview.
