- How did you do in the texture challenge? Did you try various methods in Photoshop and Illustrator? More importantly, did you take the time to experiment with the texture you chose? Remember experimentation is the key to unlocking how to use textures. Most of what I do when I use textures myself only came about because I stumbled upon it in Photoshop by accident. So use this course as a creative spring board on where to start and go from there in your own unique direction. It's a lot more fun doing it that way. This is how my design turned out. It's not for a client, it's just satisfying my own pentiont for all things samurai.
