- [Voiceover] Alright, so here I am looking at two different versions of this document, experiment six and experiment three. Let's say I now want to recolor experiment three, which is based on these blue objects instead of these red ones, and I want to do so using that earth tones group. Problem is the earth tones group is not available in this experiment three document. Instead it contains complementary two and vintage colors. And that's because, unlike in something like Photoshop, where swatches are global, inside Illustrator they are saved along with the active document. So what we need to do is bring these two groups over to the experiment six document and then save out all the groups as a swatch library that we could then use in all future documents. And so the first thing I'm going to do is get rid of all these swatches that are included with a basic RGB document because I just don't need them and they're taking up space.
