Let's talk about meta elements. Meta elements allow us to give additional information about a webpage, to the browser. For example, we have the meta description element. Like other meta elements, it's placed between the head element, and it's used by Google to help in displaying search results to people. Instead of pulling out a chunk of content from your home page, it displays a summary we've written in the content attribute. While it doesn't help in search engine rankings, it does provide a bit of service to the potential visitor to your site. I want to introduce another meta element that goes into the head element of your webpage. It's called Meta Viewport and this is what it looks like. There are two values in the content attribute. The first one is width equals device width. And the second is initial scale equals one. This bit of HTML informs the visitor's browser to set the width of that, the users own screen.
