Separating and spacing characters around the radial chart

In this video we're going to take a look at the data we have our radial relationship diagram and we're going to determine how much space around the circle we want to allot for our characters, and then we'll illustrate that space accordingly. So we're going to look at our Excel spreadsheet and make room for each of our characters. This way we don't have to go back and adjust things later. Here we are, back at our wireframe, which includes the labels that we created before and also the legend. We're going to use the Shape tool and masks to create a circular strip around the parameter of this radial chart, so we can draw lines in it, and we can create little platforms for each of our characters. I'm going to draw so that we can hide the edges of the lines that we draw later underneath a little platform for each company. I'll show you what I mean. Zooming in, we're going to draw a circle for our background using the Shape tool. I'll make it a dark gray color, and I will hold in Shift so…
