Scaling your art to suit its destination

In this movie, we'll take a look at a few best practices for scaling your artwork to match its destination. And the ultimate moral of the story is, don't do it inside Save for Web, do it inside Illustrator instead. And so I'll start things off by advancing to the third artboard of this document. And I'll go ahead and zoom in at the intersection of these two straight lines. And you can see that they look absolutely great. And if I were to click on one and shift click on the other, and then click on the word Transform up here in the control panel, you can see that Align to Pixel Grid is turned on. And so as a result, at least in theory, these lines should look absolutely picture perfect when we export this document as screen art, and to confirm that's the case; I'll go to the File menu, choose Export and choose Save for Web, or you have that keyboard shortcut of Control + Shift + Alt + S or Command+ Shift + Option + S…
