Saving for devices and the web

- For years Illustrator was a print application. In fact it was originally designed to be that one program that could render artwork for postscript, the world's first and foremost printing language. And in that regard Illustrator has always rocked it. Okay, I'm not saying those days are over. Personal story, every time I go to an airport I buy a print periodical to read on the plane. I love this ritual. Lightweight, roll it up, full color images and content, super easy to skim. I love and continue to support print. I wrote just shy of 100 books. Actual paper based books. And so again I am a huge print fan. But whereas the printed page has been around for hundreds of years the screen that you're undoubtedly looking at right now is relatively recent technology. And that technology is changing fast. Screens are better at matching colors than ever before, pixel counts are soaring higher and higher, so that we get to enjoy…
