Saving a custom New Document profile

In this Exercise, I'm going to show you how to create own your Custom New Document Preset. And it requires a little bit of work, as you're about to see. But it can be well worthy effort. If you find yourself creating the same kind of documents over-and-over inside of Illustrator. For example. Let's say you work with a variety of clients, but one of your best clients expects from you each and every other week, they want an eight-page newsletter that set up just like the one we see here. And of course, you're creating all kinds of documents. The great thing by the way, about the New command under the File menu, is it does show you the last settings you applied, but one of the last settings you applied were a piece of poster art, or a spot illustration or a piece of artwork for a surfboard. You never know what you're going to be making. Why then all that stuff for the eight-page newsletters going to get lost and would be great if you could go here to this New Document Profile option…
