- [Instructor] All right, now I'll explain how you go about saving any changes you may have made to a document. And whereas this might be a simple matter of going to the file menu and choosing the save command in another program, it's actually more nuanced inside of Illustrator. And so, first notice up here in the title tab that we're seeing an asterisk after the filename. That tells us we have unsaved changes where this document is concerned. And so, if I were to close the document, Illustrator would ask me if I want to save those changes. Now, I don't want to save over the original file so, I'll go ahead and click cancel. And instead, I'll go up to the file menu and choose the save as command which has a keyboard shortcut that's very similar to the save command. So, for save you have ctrl + s here on a PC or cmd + s on the Mac. For save as, you just add shift. So, that's ctrl + shift + s here on the PC or cmd +…
