Rotating your artwork into position

- In this movie, we're going to take our horizontal magnifying glass and we're going to rotate it into the desired position. And I can't stress this enough, even though the Shape tools can be at times very powerful, you're always better off organizing your shapes horizontally or vertically, and then, once you have everything put together, that's when you can go ahead and rotate and scale and move your objects as much as you like. All right, so the first thing I want to do is protect our original drawing by making a copy of the drawing layer. And so here inside the Layers panel, I'll click on the flyout menu icon and choose, Duplicate "drawing" and that will make a copy of the layer. Now I'm going to turn off the original to protect it from harm, and I'm going to double click on an empty portion of the new layer to bring up the Layer Options dialog box. And I'll call this new layer angled and I'll change its color, let's say, to Gold, and then I'll click OK. All right, now you want to…
